tan

This function is used by Ignition's Expression language.

Description

Returns the trigonometric tangent of a number, which is interpreted as an angle expressed in radians. The results will be a floating point value.

Syntax

tan(number)

• Parameters

  • int/float number - The number to get the tangent of.

• Results

  • float - The tangent of the number provided.
