The z-order is the order in which two-dimensional objects are stacked, for example windows in a GUI or shapes in a vector graphic that overlap each other. In report design in Ignition, z-order defines relative order of objects when they overlap. Using the 'Bring to front' or 'Send to back' options reorders the objects.
