# Alarm Notification Auditing

Alarm Notification profiles can be set to store information in an Audit Profile.

## How to Store Alarm Notifications in an Audit Profile
Once you have an [audit profile](platform\audit-log-and-profiles\audit-log-and-profiles.md) created in Ignition, you can configure your [Alarm Notification Profile](ignition-modules\alarm-notification\notification-profile-types\notification-profile-types.md) to start using it. 

1. Go to the **Config** section of the Gateway.
1. Choose **Alarming > Notification** from the menu on the left. The Alarm Notification Profiles page is displayed.
1. Edit the appropriate notification profile by clicking the **edit** link.  ![](1-Alarm%20Notification%20Profiles.png)
1. The Edit Alarm Notification Profile page is displayed. Scroll down to the **Auditing** section, and select an **Audit Profile** from the drop-down menu. Click **Save Changes**, and Ignition will automatically begin storing information.  ![](2-Audit%20Profile%20Save%20Changes.png)

Now that the Alarm Notification Profile is storing data into the Audit system, you have a complete log of all alarm emails and acknowledgements that you can review.
