Any scripts containing Vision Client scoped functions that were replaced with system.vision syntax will still work to maintain backwards compatibility. ::: This function is used in **Python Scripting**. ## Description ## Client Permission Restrictions This scripting function has no [Client Permission](../../../ignition-modules/vision/vision-project-properties/vision-project-properties.md#vision-permissions-properties) restrictions. ## Syntax `system.vision.setTouchscreenMode(enabled)` ### Parameters Type | Parameter | Description ------- | ------- | ------ Boolean | `enabled` | The new value for Touch Screen mode being enabled. ### Returns Nothing ### Scope Vision Client ## Code Example ```python title="Example #1 - Enabling Touch Screen Mode" # This example could be used on an input heavy window's internalFrameActivated event # to remove Touch Screen mode. if system.vision.isTouchscreenMode(): system.vision.setTouchscreenMode(False) ```
