## Syntax

`system.dnp.directOperateAnalog(deviceName, variation, index, value)`

### Parameters

Type | Parameter | Description
------- | ------- | -----
String| `deviceName` | The name of the DNP3 device instance.
Integer| `variation` | The Group 41 variation to use during the operation.
Integer| `index` | The index of the analog point.
 Numeric| `value` | The requested value.

### Returns

Nothing.
