This scripting function has no [Client Permission](../../../ignition-modules/vision/vision-project-properties/vision-project-properties.md#vision-permissions-properties) restrictions.

## Syntax
`system.util.getEdition()`

### Parameters
Nothing
### Returns
**String** - The edition of the Vision module that is running the client.
### Scope
Vision Client
