# system.opchda.getAttributes

> Queries the given server for the item attributes that are available with system.opchda.readAttributes.

## Description
Queries the given server for the item attributes that are available with [system.opchda.readAttributes()](appendix\scripting-functions\system-opchda\system-opchda-readAttributes.md).

## Client Permission Restrictions
This scripting function has no [Client Permission](../../../ignition-modules/vision/vision-project-properties/vision-project-properties.md#vision-permissions-properties) restrictions.

## Syntax
`system.opchda.getAttributes(serverName)`

### Parameters
Type | Parameter | Description 
------- | ------- | ------
String | `serverName` | The name of the defined OPC-HDA server to query.

### Returns
**List[AttributeInfo]** - A list of AttributeInfo objects. See the AttributeInfo Methods panel for a listing of available methods.
