## Description
When using the [Typical Navigation Strategy](visualization-and-dashboards\windows\navigation-windows\navigation-windows.md), this function will navigate to the "home" window. This is automatically detected as the first main-screen window shown in a project.

This scripting function has no [Client Permission](projects\project-properties\project-properties.md#client---permissions) restrictions.

`system.nav.goHome()`

**PyObject** - A reference to the home window that was navigated to.
